We welcome all visitors to our web site and we would love to welcome you to our Church.
At the heart of our Church life is Sunday morning worship at 10am. Our services
are quite informal and we welcome everyone from the youngest to the oldest as one
big family in Christ our Lord.
Our services are usually about an hour long, and are led by our Minister, Rev. Gary
Watt, or by one of our Local Preachers, and occasionally by Church members. The
children and young people join with the adults for the first part of the service
and then go to their own groups in the Church Hall.
Once a month we have a Service of Holy Communion when we share bread (to represent
the body of Christ) and wine (to represent the blood of Christ) in a short simple
ceremony. Everybody is invited to share with with us at the Lord’s table.
Once or twice a month we have a Family Service when the children stay in Church with
the adults for all age worship. There is usually plenty for the children to join
with. We don’t worry if the children are noisy or want to move around.
After the service we share time together over tea and coffee in the Sycamore Tree
Worship is the most important aspect of our Church Life and the opportunity for us
all to share together. We also have a monthly Bible study, occasional house-groups,
and other opportunities to learn together and explore the Christian faith. Service
to the local and world-wide community is important to us as we seek to witness to
Christ and all he represents.
We always try to be open, open to God, open to life, open to the world, and open
